Evan Turk illustrates his story of the Morgan’s encounter with whales.
Evan Turk is an illustrator and animator living in New York City. He graduated from Parsons and continued his training at Dalvero Academy. Turk’s projects have included documenting the restoration of the Charles W. Morgan and an award-winning animation “Patterns,” on the cultural history and future of the Morgan, which is on display at Mystic Seaport. His work is also included in the exhibit "Journey of Transformation" opening in 2015.
Eighty-five individuals from a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds sailed aboard the ship and participated in an unprecedented public-history project, using their own perspectives and talents to document their experiences. Meet the Voyagers »
