Ship steered N.W. until 5 A.M. when wind hauled to the N. & became very light degried out to a calm toward Sun set Saw one Sail in the morning bound S.W. & at one P M a large Steamer passed bound to the Northward Lat 38..26 N Lon 70..10 W”
