The log entry for this day states, “Commences with fine weather wind W S W steering E.S.E. at 6 PM the wind hauled to the W with beautiful weather latter part the wind hauled to the S W All hands employed in breaking out the after hold so ends Lat 37..02 Long 36..15..45 Longitude by Lunar 36..11..30”
