Log: July 19, 1847.

The CHARLES W. MORGAN was sailing on her 2^nd voyage making a stop in Fiji.  The log entry for this day states, “Commences with a strong breeze heading to the N at 1 PM hauled too under the lea of the Island and traded with the Natives at 5 PM tacked to the S.E.  two sails in sight  at 8 PM tacked to N  at 2 AM tacked to the S.E. latter part had the wind light so ends  Lat 17..10”
